Hello All -
I have a birthday close to the holidays and I can honestly say I now love it right where it is.
Growing up, I just wanted a party with my friends and a cake with candles but the holidays and school and work and travel - well, my birthday celebration could get lost in the shuffle. But not anymore. I am well celebrated by people I love and there is always a birthday wish where I blow out candles.
Several years ago, I downloaded a song called December Prayer. And I play it only in December and pretty much everyday. It has deepened my love for my birthday month and all the surrounding holidays and celebrations and traditions.
I’m very sure Idina Menzel is singing just for me. Because she knows about magic and angels and grace. She not only sings the song, but she wrote it. Oh, could I love it anymore than I already do?
I’m sharing it with you. In hopes that we all “open our hearts and look around, listen, listen”.
